gas chambers for dogs?!
i am watching tv right now and a news report on GMA says that impounded dogs that haven't been claimed within five days are sent to a gas chamber! here's an accompanying report from the website: http://www.gmanews.tv/story/119947/Stray-dogs-in-Cagayan-de-Oro-are-gassed-drowned

SHOULDN'T THIS BE ILLEGAL?! dogs are living beings, and they are helpless in the face of such cruelty! i do not even think what they're doing is euthanasia. i don't even LIKE the idea of euthanasia, especially when these animals still have many chances at a better life!

why not just have these dogs adopted?! like what PAWS does? inject them with the free anti-rabies vaccines the city veterinary office is giving out, then put them up for adoption. find good homes for these animals! don't kill them!
